Though Square Enix originally intended to release The 3rd Birthday (next installment in the Parasite Eve franchise) and Final Fantasy Agito XIII for the mobile platform, it wasn't only until recently that they revealed their plans of bringing these two games to the PSP instead.

Could the same thing be said of Kingdom Hearts: Coded? And as we know, the reason why Square Enix brought Agito to the PSP, after all, is because "they couldn't wait for cellphones to get more advanced." Will they also drop the mobile platform and bring Coded to the PSP?

This seems to be the logic behind the latest whispers started by a Dutch website and picked up by other sources. The game is currently billed as a mobile release; it's a puzzle game with some action-RPG gameplay, set after the events of KH2.

What makes this rumor less likely is the fact that Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is already scheduled for a release on the PSP. Having another PSP Kingdom Hearts title may sound a bit too redundant and a bit too soon for the handheld.

Don't get me wrong though, I definitely wouldn't mind getting to play Coded on the PSP. I'd rather have it on the PSP than the mobile phone at least.
